First off the amount of Universities in West Virginia is astounding. You will find Masters Degree programs in cities ranging anywhere from Philippi, WV, all the way to Buckhannon, WV. There really is no best way to determine what college is right for you and I felt like it was something left up to the reader to decide for themselves. There are 4 different mindsets people use to make decisions like these, and in this article I really have no way to try and persuade you to go to any one school. So with that being said lets get into what schools are in the West Virginia area and then maybe later on you will have a better idea on where you think would be a good place to get educated.

Starting from A to Z and this certainly isn’t a complete list of schools, but from the research I have gathered at this time it seems to be a nice start:

First there is the Alderson Broaddus College, and they are located in the city of Philippi WV. They offer students with a Masters Degree who are interested in disciplines such as: English, History, Math, and Science. There is the Bethany College and there located in the city of Bethany WV. Bethany only offers Arts majors.

Next is the University of Concord located in Athens WV. Concord offers a wide range of Masters education options such as: Admin, Adult Education or Higher, Counseling or Psych, Social Studies or History, Science, Health and/ Physical Education, Special Ed, and Reading.

Fairmont State University located in Fairmont, WV is the largest education provider and the list is so extensive that I am pretty sure it covers any major you are interested in majoring in. Than there is Marshall University located in Huntington WV. Marshall is mainly a Business, Psychology, Reading, and Special Education provider services.

Salem International University located in Salem, WV is a Masters Degree School with programs for: Masters in Education, and Masters in Business Administration.

Next we have Shepherd University and they are stationed in the city of Shepherdstown. Shepherd offers programs in everything you can think of lol or just about.

West Liberty University is located in the city of West Liberty what do you know the name of the city. West Liberty offers a single master program for Instructional Technology. West Virginia University is located in Morgantown and offers master degree programs in almost every major you can think of.

Virginia Beach is a wonderful place to buy a home. The municipal government is very proactive, and the services are top notch. Also, the local activities are always active and exciting as a result of the large tourism industry. With warm summers and mild winters, as well as infrequent storms, Virginia Beach is an ideal waterfront location.

A vital concern for anyone considering purchasing a home is safety. Virginia Beach has been praised as one of the safest cities of its size. It has the lowest violent crime rate of all U.S. cities with populations of 250,000 or more. The local police force takes the time to involve the community in neighborhood watch programs and other projects that develop a relationship with the local law enforcement. If you want to know and trust the police in your community, then Virginia Beach is where you want to live.

Living in Virginia Beach has other advantages, including outstanding cuisine. Top French, Italian, American and seafood restaurants are located throughout the city and along the beach. At most places, you’re guaranteed a gorgeous view to accompany your gourmet meal. This, as well as endless shopping, is a fringe benefit of living in a tourist town. The solid economic base of the community contributes to its stable growth and ever increasing property values. You can expect an increase in your home equity of between 5 and 10 % each year. With this sort of return, buying a home in Virginia Beach is a safer and more profitable venture for the average person than trading on Wall Street.

As a resident of Virginia Beach, you’ll experience the warmth of this community firsthand. Residents organize into groups to start recycling programs, to beautify the city and to help individuals in the community. There are even programs to help community members repair their homes after emergencies. Virginia Beach is beautiful and bustling, but most of all it’s a caring city.

West Virginia is nicknamed the “mountain state” for good reason. Situated in the Appalachians, the West Virginia real estate market has peeks and valleys as well. West Virginia is somewhat of a misunderstood state when it comes to national recognition. Occasionally shown in a negative light, the state is actually a tremendous location for outdoor enthusiasts. Rock climbing, hiking, fishing, camping and rafting are available in practically every part of the state. Throw in numerous historical sites from the Civil War and West Virginia just might be considered a hidden gem.

West Virginia real estate prices are extremely reasonable throughout the state. The average price of a single family home in Charleston, for instance, is approximately $180,000. The average home price drops to $140,000 for single family homes in Morgantown. It’s pretty hard to find prices this low in the rest of the country, particularly for a town rated the 3rd best in the United States. For the last 12 months, West Virginia real estate has appreciated at a rate of a little over 9 percent. Overall, West Virginia is jumping back onto the national scene because of low real estate prices. Real estate in Morgantown, in particular, may be a very good investment.

When you receive an offer from the home buyer, either the buyer himself will present it to you, or his attorney will. Once you receive the offer, you have a certain amount of time to review the offer. This time is known as the Attorney Review Period. Both you and the buyer are entitled to this review period. While the Attorney Review Period can vary from one state to the next, it usually lasts three days. During these three days, you can cancel or amend the offer received from the buyer. If you choose to amend the offer, the buyer then has three days to cancel or amend the new version of the offer. If, at the end of the review period, you have not specified that you would like to cancel or amend the offer, it then becomes a contract and is legally binding. Even though you are working without a real estate agent, the assistance of a real estate professional, like an attorney, is useful when you reach this stage of the process. In some cases, home offers include clauses that benefit the buyer. A real estate attorney is able to work with you to understand the terms and conditions listed in the offer. When you hire a real estate attorney, that person is responsible for ensuring that the offer you accept is one that is in your best interest. Keep in mind there is more to the offer than the purchase price. The terms and conditions in the contract should be considered. Because of the language used in contracts, you may not completely understand the contract or its implication to the sale of the home. This is the primary reason that a real estate attorney is necessary. The buyer can create a contract leaving loopholes for him to back out in certain situations. For example, some buyers attempt to create a contract that links escrow closing date to the sale of their own home. In these situations, you will not officially sell your home to the buyer until the buyer has sold his own home to someone else, which could take weeks or even months. Because of the complexity of a real estate contract, the negotiation process can be inundated with details with which you are not familiar. For this reason, having a real estate attorney can help close the deal on your West Virginia home for sale.

Like many other states, West Virginia was prompted to develop an Emergency Management System by an act of Congress. In 1996, Congress enacted the National Highway Safety Act, which created the Department of Transportation (DOT) with a mandate to establish minimum standards for provision of care for accident victims, including the development and implementation of training standards for EMS personnel. DOT was authorized to withhold up to 10 percent of a state’s federal highway funds if the state did not comply with the standards. In 1996, the State Legislature passed W. Va. Code 33-25-8d, which requires that health insurance policies include coverage for emergency services, with the same deductibles, coinsurance and other limitations as apply to other covered services. Insurance companies cannot require preauthorization or pre-certification. In 1997, the legislature established a wireless enhanced 911 fee to help offset the cost to counties for their 911 emergency telephone systems. The fee was set at $.75 per month for each valid retail commercial mobile radio service subscription. The Public Service Commission was mandated to recalculate the fee every two years after conducting an audit. In 1998, the legislature provided a detailed and standardized definition of emergency services under the types of services that various health insurers and health care organizations are required to cover. The new definition included services provided in or by an ambulance and other pre-hospital services to the extent necessary to screen and stabilize the covered person. The act provided detailed procedures for the coverage of emergency services, including a prudent layperson standard for use in determining if coverage should be provided. n 2005, the legislature also raised the fee for wireless enhanced 911 and adjusted the formula by which the Public Service Commission distributes the revenues from the fee to the counties. The legislation also earmarked an amount for construction of wireless towers, created the Enhanced 911 Wireless Tower Assistance Fund to be administered by the Public Service Commission, and allowed counties which consolidate government services to receive one percent of the fee for each county consolidated.

Though you might not ever end up with the jackpot-winning Power Ball lotto numbers, West Virginia Power Ball is still very fun to play. Whether you spend one dollar or ten on the WV lottery Powerball game, you will probably never get tired of watching the Powerball drawing on television twice a week. This is because the excitements of seeing them announce the Powerball winner cannot be rivaled. Every West Virginia Powerball ticket holder is glued to the television every Wednesday and Saturday evening at 10:59 watching them draw the six numbers one by one.

If you do not like the idea of choosing your West Virginia Powerball lottery numbers for yourself, you can choose the Quick Pick option and let the computer choose them for you. However, most people find this to be less fun than choosing their own Powerball lottery numbers. You can base them on your birthday or your family members birthdays, or you can play numbers that came to you in dream. You can pick your Powerball numbers by counting the number of cars in the parking lot, or you can go by some sort of formula. The possibilities are endless; as is the fun you will have playing the West Virginia Powerball lottery drawing game. West Virginia probably has the most liberal lottery policies in the United States. You may play most state lotteries and some European lotteries through their website. There is the Euromillions where the player selects 5 numbers from 1 to 50. You may also play the U.K. (United Kingdom) lottery. Simply select 6 numbers form 1 through 49. This is probably the only state run site where foreign lotteries may be accessed. Through the West Virginia lottery site you may also play most state lotteries. West Virginia also offers most standard games such as Powerball and Mega Millions. This is by far one of the best state lottery websites that can be found.

Teenagers are not the easiest to please, and if are the parent of a teenager, you will understand this far better than someone else. This means that vacations with a teenager can be an adventure in itself, but one you may not always want to hold as a memory. To make it a great vacation for everyone, it is recommended that you choose a destination that considers you teenager as well. This will help prevent boredom, an unhappy teen and happy traveling for everyone.

White water rafting is another great choice for holidays with teens. There are rafting tours available all throughout the United States, though West Virginia, Utah, Idaho and Colorado are some of the more poplar locations. If you select white water rafting, it is important to consider your child’s level of rafting experience, or rather his or her lack of experience. A guided tour is best for inexperienced rafters, including yourself. As mentioned, it is very important to consider your teenager’s likes and dislikes. It may be a good idea to let them help you plan your next vacation. Not only is this time spent together, it will ensure you select a destination that has activities they can also enjoy. This will be time well spent in many ways.
